Getting to Pyhätunturi
Pyhätunturi is some 100 km above the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Finland.
We are 140 km North-East from Rovaniemi, Santa Claus’ hometown. So it is just a few (or more) hours ride to Pyhä, if you feel like needing warm-up before the race.
If cycling isn’t your mode of transport, consider the night train journey from Helsinki to Rovaniemi or Kemijärvi.
Departing from Helsinki (via Tampere and Oulu), the night train arrives to Rovaniemi/ Kemijärvi (just 50km from Pyhätunturi) early in the morning.
A convenient bus service to Pyhätunturi awaits both from Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi railway stations. Check schedules and secure your train tickets through VR and bus tickets via Matkahuolto.
The route
We’re on a quest to find the sweetest spots and most captivating views, ensuring every rider gets an unforgettable gravel riding experience. Fellscape = gravel with a twist.
There will be plenty of miles to ride and new friends to meet, so we recommend arriving in the fell as early as you can!
